The off-road bus Torsus Praetorian with Ukrainian roots has been updated by 2021

The manufacturer has taken into account the wishes of customers when working on the update, reports auto.24tv.ua.

The Czech company Torsus, founded by Ukrainians, is known for its SUVs, ready for any difficulties on their way. And thanks to this his first model – Praetorian. About three years have passed since its appearance, so the manufacturer decided to update its firstborn, adding fresh technology and equipment.

Torsus’ Praetorian SUV line has a wide range of applications. Universal cars with high passability, the ability to carry up to 36 passengers and have a variety of cabin configurations, are valued in expeditions and rescue services, by travelers and lovers of mobile dwellings. Such buses are also ordered by private buyers who want to have special off-road transport. When buying, the customer selects from the list of options what he needs.

The Praetorian received LED optics. instead of halogen headlights; front lights with 4100 lumens are used. They will be able to shine with a scattered or focused beam. Side lighting has appeared.

The air conditioning system has been improved – now the Webasto system takes only 3 minutes to cool the cabin from 60 to 30 degrees Celsius. The updated BlazeCut fire extinguishing system can independently extinguish a fire around the fuel system, engine compartment and other critical components. Two fire extinguishers and refractory materials were added to the cabin.

Overall safety for passengers has been significantly improved thanks to an automatic door closing system that operates at speeds above 3 km/h, safety sensors, an emergency release button and other upgrades. Mechanical center and rear doors have also been added for convenience.

The headrests now have integrated displays for connecting multimedia devices. In winter, the cabin will be much warmer, thanks to improved insulation.

The main characteristics and power units of the Torsus Praetorian remain unchanged: a 286-horsepower diesel engine and a powerful 4×4 transmission on the MAN chassis. Praetorian is able to overcome slopes up to 65 degrees and water obstacles up to 90 centimeters deep.

The price of the updated Torsus Praetorian in Europe starts at 166 thousand euros.
